Martha, Mary, and Lazarus all encountered Jesus.
To summarize it…
Martha – before encountering Jesus, she was serving and complaining. After encountering Jesus, she still serves, but now she has a new and better attitude.
Mary – before encountering Jesus, she was hungry for what Jesus said. After encountering Jesus, she is willing to pour out her all (expensive nard) and break any tradition by unbinding her hair to wipe Jesus’ feet. Her worship has become God-centered and selfless worship through the act of her devotion and love for Jesus.
Lazarus – before encountering Jesus, he was dead. After encountering Jesus, he is alive.
3 different individuals, 3 different outcomes… all encountered Jesus; some remain the same, some willingly give all to follow Jesus, and some transform into a new breed by the power of God. Which one are you?
