“I needed a bar of soap. God gave me a bottle of body wash.” – Jack Lee
I don’t like this feeling. Feeling of lacking money, feeling of not being able to pay my bills, feeling of poverty. My God is good; He is always wealthy; He has always had more than enough. I covered myself with a blanket, not wanting to get up from my bed because I have to deal with my own weak feeling of lacking. El Shaddai, my Lord, You have always provided my family and me with plenty, but I am tired (or sick) of being lacking. I need a bottle of body wash again! You’ve provided us; please do it again. Two days, we are running on empty, actually negative. You told us to give; we gave till we ran out. This is not an easy lesson.
As I told You, I am going back to the marketplace; I am looking for a job now, whether You agree or not. C’mon, You know everything. I am not gonna hide my feelings, but I am running dry now, God. I will look for a “better pay” job. If You want me to stay in the full-time ministry, You grow this church! We are NOT growing, and I hate it! Stop wasting my time!!! Maybe You will close all the doors, but I will still do it… I will knock on the doors!
You always provided enough… but this time, I need more than enough.
More enough… always enough… El Shaddai.
